Scuffing, local colour loss, small scratches and some cracks. Tears, collapsed padding and severe breakdown of the material may require repairing or replacing the section — this is determined on inspection.
We match the colour as closely as possible, but the result depends on the age of the leather, fading and the condition of the surrounding areas. How close the match will be is stated before the work starts, not after.
Cleaning removes soiling and prepares the surface. Restoration rebuilds colour and local damage with dedicated repair and colouring products. Often one follows the other: cleaning first, then restoration.
